"As a recent telecommunication production graduate from The University of Florida, I am interested in every facet of the production process, from conception to marketing. I find the intricacies of producing content in the electronic mediums (internet/television) very fascinating and wish to continue learning new things in the field.
I have taken a lot of coursework in production and writing and am eager to put that experience to good use."
The Department of Telecommunication at the University of Florida (UF) is one of the country’s premiere programs in electronic mass media. The Production track prepares students for positions in the creative
aspects of electronic media, including writing, directing, producing, and editing. The UF is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC). Of the over-400 radio-TV programs
in the United States, only 80-some are accredited. Accreditation means that the UF has been measured against a rigorous national standard and judged to be among the best. (Source: UF Catalog)
